I loved this site and the feeling of community, it has been a great safe haven after so many other places like Tumblr and Twitter have pushed us
away.
Unfortunately, with recent policy changes regarding the banning of some NSFW content, I'm afraid Bluesky is headed down the same path.
A ton of users, including myself, believe your recent policy changes about fictional content is ridiculous and unfair. You cannot, in good faith, judge a fictional character's level of consent because fictional characters are fake and cannot give consent. Drawings are not real!
We want to be heard, but we have been deliberately ignored when we gave feedback.
Please. Don't censor us. We're censored enough.

Most notably:

1) Specifying no FICTIONAL noncon
2) No "dangerous" kink
3) No DISCUSSING self harm, suicide, or substance abuse unless its "educational"

it's about bsky's new adult content guidelines. the problem is that CNC is a common kink that simulates non-con but is consensual and in *fictional content*, you can arbitrarily claim there's no consent because "it doesnt look consensual".. that's too slippery a slope.
