What is the effect you want your art to have on the viewer ?
I like it when I am able to recreate an image that has provoked in me a particular emotion :
It can be the awe of coming in contact with jellyfish whilst swimming in the baltic and finding them totally harmless and airily beautiful.

What I am reading today: LIGHT by eva Figes ( 1983-reprinted 2024 by Pallasathene) A memoir about light, following the footsteps of Monet around his Giverny garden. A testimony about how art can beat back the shadows, albeit the worst shadows of the FIRST WORLD WAR.
