Had the best kind of a much needed distraction today after not looking forward to next week with anxiety levels through the roof.A nice walk in the sun, lots of songs of The Cribs and started a Stranger Things rewatch building up to the new season has all helped massively today☺️

Maybe it’s after listening to the new Taylor album but the new Wolf Alice album has finally grown on me. Maybe I’ve got a whole new appreciation for it after that. It’s a beautiful record don’t get me wrong just a slow burner but finally getting there with it ☺️

Definitely missing the finishing touches and the sparkle of a Taylor Swift album. I genuinely can’t believe she’s happy with how this sounds to put it out. Rushed/forced it maybe 🤷‍♀️ . Some great sassy lyrics but the actual music and vocals are disappointing #Lifeofashowgirl

Sounds overproduced but underproduced too like it needs layering or something to me and the instruments genuinely sound like they’ve been recorded on one of these from the 90s where you select the demo background track on a keyboard🤷‍♀️ #lifeofashowgirl

Ok a few more listens shows why you need to listen to things more than once to get a fuller picture. it’s disappointing.Not that I know much about the production of albums here😂 but the levels sound so off to me. Either lyrics too loud to hear the instruments and visa versa #lifeofashowgirl

As an album though I think it’s probably one of her weakest. Production isn’t great and the theme seems a bit all over the place. Feels like a lot of the tracks are an mis mash of tail end left over songs from other albums. A handful of standouts but not a solid record for me 🤷‍♀️
