More Berlin Brigade nonsense (apologies for spam but whatever)
Without a proper reference photo I took the lead 432 Rarden camo pattern and overlayed it on the Abbot and it’s come out well. 3 more to go!

Hopefully get to play against these next week!
‘When east meets west, it’s gonna be one hell of a mess’
Doro Pesch, Warlock.

Berlin Brigade armoured company ready to rock! These were actually no where near as fiddly as I thought it was going to be. Took its time, but they have come out pretty well I reckon!

So, is this better or worse than the 2010s remake.

1500pts fully painted. Karak Norn dwarfs for The Old World. Took a proper pic since I hit this milestone with the army.

First full troop complete!

Command tanks next, then I’ve got the next three chieftains to do and that will be all the heavy armour in the force complete. Then on to fiddly bits! This is accurately replicated Camo, but it might get busy for smaller vehicles.

Mike doing the one tank camo I've never gotten around too.

Mainly because I need a third British TY force like I need a hole in the head.
Okay in the grand scheme of things, that didnt take a million years and has come out pretty well for this scale.

Just 8 more to go now...

And the Fox's

And the FV432...

Oh god.

I mean, there is a reason I never got around to it.
Possibly not enough focus on historical influences on the puttee for @britishbersagliere.bsky.social

295. ‘Big Tam’ Frazer, Department X veteran, from 7TV Crooked Dice. (my first paint of him, Gordon tartan) All done in Foundry paints. Mix of brushes.
Never thought of the BAR /Lasgun link but certainly can't argue it when shown side by side!

Good breakdown of the historical influences on the modern Krieg models.
Good morning Bluesky !

5 Years ago @mikesouthphotos.bsky.social took some smashing shots of us marking the 103rd (now 107th) anniversary of the Attack at St Quentin, where the 10th Essex and 18th Division kicked the door in of the German Defenders in the 100 days.

Great times.

Smashing game yesterday. We had old chum Keith over to play his first game of flames of war. A big desert battle was the order for the day!

Lots of swirly action as the dust flew. Keith had a great time and is already starting the game. More for the hobby!

Managed to sit down and catch #aewdynamite last night and paint some lovely toy soldiers. 75mm Italian guns and some Lancia 90mm tank hunters. All old stock from battlefront, but handsome models.

Cracking way to spend an evening.

Here it is. I’m not going to use the word ‘pride’ of my collection. But it’s a great talking point about relative qualities of personal equipment during WW2. The Breda Modello 30.

Now I know what you’re thinking ‘it’s garbage’ well, yes. But let’s take a look at it a bit closer.

In hindsight, that would have made a great marketing shot for a fantastic book!

A pleasure to present a new project for IWM Duxford today - looking forward to sharing the final result in due course! 🎥 Also just had to take a picture with this Bf 109 E that is crumped just like the one on the front cover of #EagleDays... @headofzeus.bsky.social
Thanks! Yeah, the comms tower, Brutopolis Tower amd the Civic Centre (that I am about to build) are all designed to be scale less so will work for Battletech.

The Apartments are visibly sealed for 15mm so likely less useful.
