I usually start with personality traits and a conflict. For OCs I like exploring the mechanisms of their character evolving and interacting with the context they are in. The visuals depend on what traits they are playing into or if they're meant to contradict them in some way.

Actually in the middle of working on this!
Chel gets abducted while on her cover job so the first days she's running around in torn housemaid clothes. At the grove she gets field armor that can be turned into a lighter version. There's also the illusiory dress for the Waterdeep scene :)

The house maid outfit features the same white blouse as the rogue, with the sleeves tied up. It has a brown corset, a white apron, and a deep blue skirt that is torn at the edges.
The illusion dress is a muted purple gown with an off-shoulder colar and puffy sleeves. The skirt pools around Chel on the floor.
