Like all mouse lemurs, pygmy mouse lemurs spend their nights leaping through the trees and their days tucked away in cozy spots like tree holes or abandoned nests. #TonugeOutTuesday #WorldLemurFestival

Aye-Aye's have incisor teeth that never stop growing, which is unique in primates! Their sharp teeth allow them to chew holes in bark to get at the insects within.

Say hello to the red-ruffed lemur! These fluffy forest dwellers are full of surprises. Unlike most lemurs, red-ruffed lemur moms give birth to litters—sometimes up to SIX tiny babies! And instead of carrying them around, they tuck their little ones into a carefully built nest.

#FunFactFriday: Meet the indri, the largest lemur in the world! These tree-dwellers can reach up to 28 in. in length and weigh as much as 21 pounds (9.5 kg). Despite their impressive size, their tails are only about 2 inches long—a tiny remnant of their shared ancestry with monkeys.
