“The ultimate destination of this team could well be unprecedented. We could certainly do with more from the big hitters on the journey towards that, though.”

Words/thoughts on Liverpool’s back-to-back defeats, the lack of cohesion and tactical struggles. #LFC

Rashford is Barcelona’s youngest outfield player today. Feels crazy to say.
Henry Winter‘s last two Substack articles have been about the Maccabi ban. It’s all just really bizarre.

“Barely any players are in form, the ones who are remain confined to the bench. How many times are Federico Chiesa, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz going to positively influence a game from the bench before the penny drops?”

Words on the United defeat. #LFC

Frankfurt’s goalkeeper will have the game of his life on Wednesday
Don’t think there is an adjective to appropriately sum up how bad West Ham have been here
Oh, and how could i forgot, Curtis Jones. Don’t know how many times he has to make a difference from the bench to get starts.

Nice to hear so much from Jurgen but Steven Bartlett is pretty low down on my favourite list of humans.
Ange to Sean Dyche is probably the most drastic change of styles in a manager change since the last time Nottingham Forest changed their manager.
Does he know the size of the job he has? Dismissing a run of four straight defeats as manager of Liverpool because of ‘good performances‘ (Are these good performances in the room with us right now?)
Can’t say he’s wrong
Stealing a living that guy.
The club’s grand plan to replace Trent was signing a guy who you don’t actually trust to play at right back to the point that you’d play a midfielder there over him. Good process, guys.
Perhaps Arne should stop banging on about Arsenal scoring from set pieces and get someone to sort ours out
That bloke with four golden boots is a good player, fancy giving him the ball?
If Kerkez comes out for the second half I’ll have no words
Somebody with an ‘Agger 5’ shirt there. This must be the only person on planet earth with a Daniel Agger Liverpool shirt in 2025
Away end bingo:
Minute 1: Steve Gerrard Gerrard
Minute 9: Always the victims
Are you not entertained mate?
Three-at-the-back systems have served as Liverpool’s kryptonite in recent times; their Sunday opponents being led by a man who insisted that “not even the Pope” could convince a change from his 3-4-3, makes this an interesting battle. #LFC

Good. Fucking. Grief.
Lobbying for violent fascist hooligans a bigger priority than managing public safety/protecting communities. Not to mention the countless examples of other perceived high risk fans not being allowed to travel for European away games.
Forrester named as #LFC ‘s scholar to watch in the Guardian’s annual ‘Next Generation Series.’ Think it’s the right pick.

Their correspondent Andy Hunter interestingly wrote about the academy coaches working on harnessing his freakish pace & emphasising the need to select the right moments to go.
If the plan is indeed for Bajcetic to get match fitness back up in the U21s, it's important to say that there only 4 fixtures remaining in 2025
