Don't get me wrong - I'd take Bease back in a heartbeat; but no one is trying to sign him right now and probably for good reason.

Flip side to your argument: it's risky to stake your success on one shooter. I'd rather a diverse portfolio of shooters that includes him.

I know - and yet, so good points made re: more volume, esp from Duncan. But also more diverse group of shooters, and even fastbreak buckets increasing. I love Bease and would take him back, but this team isn't dead without him. Shooting was mediocre in the playoffs.

I hope you're right - although I'd prefer he play fewer minutes in the regular season, keeping him fresh and allow more minutes for Ron and others to develop. But that will depend as much on defensive development as anything. Can this team put other teams away early?

He's probably good for 1.25/gm. Maybe better % playing off Cade? Or maybe the role is reversed and Levert's playmaking actually increases Cade's rate/%?

To be clear, I'm saying 50 more than THJ hit last year (168). So this is Robinson hitting 218. I think it's*possible* he's in the 250 range, but Bease also played 82gms last year. Is Robinson playing 75+? Maybe. Does he have a career year? He's hit 250 twice playing 30mpg.

Where does DET get 320 3s/gm to make up for Beasley? I think Robinson more than covers THJ loss and on higher %, but don't think he covers Beasley. Levert isn't filling THAT role enough to matter much. I have Robinson, Ivey, Stew, & Ron making a healthy dent though. And I like the diverse approach.
