90. Paranormal Activity

This movie was TENSE. Every single time we'd cut to night time and watch the camera capture the couple sleeping I was sweating just waiting to see what kind of creepy or downright terrifying stuff was going to happen. Amazing atmosphere and the silence was deafening

Am I the only one that feels the Pokemon in Legends ZA look WAY better than they have in years. Like the colors feel vibrant and not washed out like they have been since Gen 6. Maybe I'm crazy but some of their colors remind me of the Gen 4-5 sprite days

89. World of Warcraft: The War Within - Season 3 (Ghosts of Karesh)

A decent end to the expansion. The raid was pretty solid and Mythic Plus I Rath enjoyed this season. The story spun its wheels a bit and I didn't find Karesh all that interesting of a place to explain. Looking forward to Midnight

It's such a shame because Acts 1 and 2 had such strong imagery and a wonderfully gaunt version of death. But as strong of a start as it was, it just wasn't enough to keep me invested for the rest of the runtime... or ignore the very harmful stereotypes... Like I know it's 1921 but oof.

88. Destiny (1921)

Another silent film! This time and I loved this one... for the first 40 minutes. Once act 3 began it dove right off a cliff. This one really dragged and also it was INCREDIBLY racist in it's portrayal of Middle Eastern and Chinese people. I was really let down by this one.

87. The Lodger (1927)

I was surprised to see that Hitchcock was making films during the silent film era, I had always thought he started closer to the 40s. Anyway, a pretty solid film! A good sense of dread and build up and a rather wholesome pair in our main leads.

I have a doctor's appointment in the morning that I wasn't worried about. But after Mom's diagnosis last week I'm in my head a bit. Guess I'm worried about getting bad news too however unlikely it is. I think they'll just tell me the same thing they did last year. Not bad but not good. Same story

I wasn't planning on playing it initially but the Switch 1 version runs pretty well, better than S/V at least and the game is really fun. It's not as varied in locations as PLA but I think I enjoy the gameplay loop a bit more. As a whole I prefer PLA so far but I'm really enjoying ZA

Having gone into ZA pretty much blind and not planning ahead of time like I usually do I think my team is weird but neat! A fair mix of Pokemon I've never used before and ones I haven't used in a long time (10+ years). A bit more weaknesses than I'm used to but the coverage can't be beat

I should really pry myself away from Hades II and play the new Pokemon game. Especially since I've gotten all the achievements, did all the hardest boss fights, maxed everything out, etc. But the gameplay loop is just so damn addicting... I'm trying to push past 32 fear but man it's hard

86. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled

I'm starting to realize that I'm not huge into playing racing games alone. I get bored. Fantastic remake and game all the way around but I had way more fun playing the original with friends. Hopefully someday I'll get a group together to play the remake too

My mom received some, we'll say concerning news about her health today. I think we're both still in the shock phase. Doesn't seem real. But it's not hopeless or immediately dire either. Just extremely unexpected and will need some major lifestyle changes. If things progress then it'll be not good 😐
