Susan, our resident magpie, thinking about sampling one of our afternoon margaritas #birds #farmlife #homestead
The rain finally stopped for us too (Northern Rivers). This is the view from the spa 😘
It’s been raining up here in the Northern Rivers for pretty much four years. And that includes the floods and a cyclone. It’s just insane. We’re all so sick of it up here
Or you could try living on a farm and doing two solid weeks of fencing 😀
Winter sunset from the spa. Kookaburras calling in the background and a fire inside when we’re all done
I understand he got photoshopped out of the offical picture?
Old shoe lasts from India. Teak, around 100 years old.
Repurposed as coat hooks. Just polished and photographed, these beauties will be coming to our market stall next weekend #crafts #decor

I’m going to be honest, it was touch and go.
Came home from dinner to two things…overproofed dough and a Red Belly Black snake in the house. What an interesting night #sourdough #baking #homestead #farmlife #snake
Not the same discussion. Do try to keep up 🙂
Australian here. We love Mexico and we love Mexicans. You're some of the hardest working people in the world. Maybe it's time to start making Mexico a superpower. I'd love to see that
Well that's not true
Australian here. As far as we (and the rest of the world) are concerned, you're an absolute numpty dickhead
Some random pretty pictures of my evening beachside walk the other day #beach #coast #australia
Can you take some pictures through it for us please 😊
Voting time. And because we’re nice and early, we also get a Democracy Sausage. Bonus!
This pretty well sums up my morning routine waking up on a farm in the Australian subtropics #farmlife
My Phoenix once came home from a kennel stay and he wasn’t well. Spent an afternoon eating grass, which really worried me. He never threw it up. A day later he just passed a giant grass turd (which must’ve scoured him out completely) and then he was completely fine after that.
Came close to giving up. So many flat loaves
Best loaves ever. I think I’ve finally cracked the sourdough thing #baking #sourdough
When one is at Bunnings so early in the day, it is only proper that one has a second breakfast #sausagesizzle
My entire harvest of pecan nuts this year. Let’s face it, it’s better than no pecans. And it’s probably six more pecans than you have
A beautiful day for a surf with a storm just offshore
Interesting. So maybe not the fix I was hoping for.

The fact is, in a rural area subject to extreme weather events, we need a reliable means of maintaining coms. I don't want to buy Starlink...but I also can't afford to be cut off from the outside world for seven days or longer (as just happened)
