They are certainly not the foundations of morality. That's silly. Morality is far older than that dusty book.

The god in that book murdered the whole world, raped and impregnated a child, threatened to torture everyone, and literally created all the evil he whines about.

The driver doesn't have to work there if they don't want. They can seek employment elsewhere. Maybe they should work for someone who will pay them instead of forcing them to beg customers to pay extra.
