I straight up don't think I can communicate to people how much the Animal HRT era of trans art/comics affected us as a system, I mean this in the most positive way possible

Is it,,, illegal as a superman fan, who thinks the new Superman film is the best non-comic portrayal of the character, to say that I think Man of Steel is one of my favorite superman films on rewatch and that it is a hopeful movie?

Transitioning as trans women is about becoming the women we want to be, and that's very important to us of course, but we are already women by default. Facial hair, broad shoulders, and a deep voice doesn't change that

I feel like it's taken us years to apply to ourselves something we already felt about others: that passing as a trans person, and more specifically in our case as trans women, isn't really, like, important.
