My husband starts his new job this Friday. I’m so grateful because he’s been looking for 3 years and our nest egg was dwindling fast.. but it’s the first time Mouse and I will be on our own and I’m nervous. 😂

Had to test out the texture cause I used dry milled rice flour vs wet milled. So I made a few tteokkochi with a tangy/spicy sauce! I didn’t have any brown sugar so I used white sugar and molasses, I didn’t have soy sauce so I used unagi sauce and I didn’t have gochujang so I used sriracha 😅😅

So one thing about me is I absolutely love to make foods from other cultures! So tonight I tried my hand at making garaettok- Korean rice cakes! :) I plan to make tteok mandu guk which is Korean rice cake soup with dumplings!

Sooo finally got around to calling the billing department for my mom’s undisclosed $500 bill from her cardiac rehabilitation. Yeaaah now there’s an internal investigation because the insurance company never received the bill the hospital is saying they didn’t pay 🫠

Uhm you’d absolutely better get a refund! Bed bugs are worse than fleas! Once they’re in your home it’s almost impossible to get rid of them without tenting the place!!
