That was my first thought, too. If it's a white man, it would just say a man. I'm sure there are many things about this hero that are true. Obviously, he's a coach, maybe a father or church member. Perhaps being a black man confronting law enforcement puts him at greater risk of harm. Anyway - KUDOS
