Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Krystal and I’m the artist behind Loeffels of Love. My friends’ homes have been destroyed. They have nothing left but their lives. Thank God for that at the very least. We will try to raise money to pay for their degrees, so they can apply for scholarships, jobs, and educational programs in other countries.

I made some paper today.

I also opened our campaign up for donations! We're fundraising to cover the educational costs of two young women who are currently unable to work. I always wanted to start a scholarship to help folks the way I was helped during uni.

One of the first lessons I learned in activism is that taking breaks is necessary. Take breaks or find yourself burnt out, depressed, unhealthy.

I didn’t verify but I read somewhere that these are people being given reduced sentences if they agree to work for ICE. I would love to see something definitively. Is this why they cover their faces?

That's a wonderful endeavor. Do you think they would ever consider creating a similar opportunity for parents (usually mothers) who would like to reenter their field after having a child? It's a tough nut to crack.
