Earlier this week, Muhaddisa helped raise funds to keep the Refugee Learning Centre open for another year, giving over 400 children a safe place to learn. This act of paying it forward is a reflection of the deep-rooted drive to serve and lead that stood out when she applied for the Loran Award.

Joti Gokaraju ('25) recently earned a Rideau Hall Foundation Ingenious+ Award for his braille-based communication system, TouchTalk. Created as an alternative to cost-prohibitive technologies for deafblind people, the seed money from this award will help Joti continue working to innovate and scale.
