Yeah, it seems intentional to help China (and other times, Russia) more so than helping America. The “smarter” ones behind the tariffs are Heritage Foundation ideas (Ludnick, Navarro, Vought, Bessent), Trump’s job is to sell it (con the people) and make himself a lot of money.

The big question is, is this intentional by this MAGA regime? Because it really feels like the American people are unnecessarily paying the burden. Prices are noticeably higher for all of us. It is a huge transfer of wealth from the middle class (tariff taxes) to the oligarch class (tax cuts).

Trump is manipulating the stock market, again. He knew the market dips on the announcement of a 100% tariff on China. He opened a buying opportunity for the rich in his circle. After further dip and buy orders are in, he’ll announce to adjust to 25% (or whatever), and the markets will go up again.
