Thinking about the training GM Canards from Ecole du Ciel... I really like Yoshinori Sayama's designs for EdC in general, but I love this friend just for lacking a traditional head and instead just having a weird large sensor package up there.

Truth of all MMOs is that they are a cyclical thing for me, wherein I will play consistently for months then take a break for a while. Was thinking about Ragnarok Online today... At least I hit a fun fashion before taking an extended break. I love my assassin.

I got the HG last year and luckily it can stand decently well, even with the Pannier up. I doubt they'll do the Torunfam or anything but it'd be nice since I thought it was a fun little build

Only just realized that they have a skull motif because when I only saw the mecha in your reply to me I just assumed it was a weird face that looked like a pig lmao, like the pigs from Tomba were tired of his shit and built a robot to fight him

While i'm more lukewarm on the basic neofam, this variation with an alternate visor and one of those fancy multi-directional space verniers that I tend to like is also quite good

I think my favorite of the hero designs in Vifam is the Torunfam though. I like the way it combines having the big glass visor like the vifam but with the split giving the effect of two large eyes... Its cockpit pod is a bit less cute but still good

Thinking about the Dizzo from Vifam.... I love bizarre quadruped mode it has. Simple transformation, one of the classics of 'rotate the waist 180 degrees.' Main additional thing is the knees on the default legs to be double jointed.

Like people will sometimes point out something as plagiarism, and very frequently I will go 'that's ridiculous' (especially how often it comes up even when it's from the same artist or artists that frequently work together) and part of that is, like, there are so many more blatant examples out there

I really gotta jump on more 8/16 bit mecha games. They might not always be good but sometimes they reward me by giving me good artwork (sometimes by major mecha artists!!) in their instruction booklets/covers/etc. Even better if the spritework is good even in a mid-game lmao
