It's so prevalent and yet all the onus is on victims to identify it, disclose it and survive it, there's really no standard of care that victims can expect. Seven months is a long time.

I wish I could say that in my exp, situations where a suicidal person has survived domestic abuse and is not able to access psychological therapy on the NHS are rare but they are not. Mental health services need wake up!

I'm not usually judgy about parenting because it's a hard job with a lot of drudgery but last time his lads were 'supervised' in our garden, I caught them with a pair of our large rusty pruning shears.

Today I asked him to take his lads to play in his own garden and he had the cheek to say said 'but they're only two'. It took everything in me not to say 'yeah? Then put your phone away and play football with them them." Prick.

There's a guy who wanders around on his mobile phone while his two twin lads, who are 2 years old, toddle around with a football up, right against our full length living room windows. We've asked him to move on before.
