I will never understand how soldiers carrying weapons, heavily outfitted to protect them from head to toe are afraid of those who protest, calling them names, tossing sandwiches, even small rocks being thrown are a threat to their safety.

And so: If they speak another or more than one language, have a darker skin pigmentation, have less money to live on, have a disability , don't believe as you, they don't deserve even the most basic services and freedoms that you enjoy? Call them"vermin" or "animals"? Is it loyalty or hate?

I am not an old hippie, I have never been paid to peacefully demonstrate with others for justice, I am a senior who is appalled what I will be leaving for our children and grandchildren. America offered another way to govern, no kings, no dictators until now.
