Oh yeah, the surface route is a MAJOR difficulty spike compared to the underworld. Not just the bosses, the enemies themselves and especially the mini-bosses can really mess you up

Personally my favorite bow was the one with the hominh special, it was phenomenal with Dyonisus' boons

But Zag had 6 weapons too. Sword, spear, shield, gauntlets, bow and rail, eaxh with 4 aspects. They're equal in that regard.
