2 weeks ago, my parents moved from my childhood home to NYC. This is my first weekend here bc I dorm at school. Everything is busy and different and I feel so lost... I never even saw this apt before they moved, they toured without me bc I was at school. I'm too soft for the city, I miss my home ;v;

I still don't understand why people were so outraged about Twitter's leadership/alignment, only to stay on the platform anyway. Is it because of clout? It's a LOT easier to get popular there than on Tumblr/Bluesky/Mastodon/etc. But your words have no integrity if you don't commit to them

As for me, idk if I'll enter this time. None of my songs have ever gotten big no matter what approach I try, plus I refuse to be on Twitter, so I think this is as far as I can go. I'll never be able to sell an album like I dreamed (though I still intend to make the album! it'll just be private lol)

New Vocagathering event? I'm not optimistic about it in terms of the ranking algorithm, but I hope some of the small producers will get lucky and get high enough on the leaderboard for new listeners to give them a chance. It happened for a few people last time, so I know it's possible!

My legs stopped working properly a few days ago, so now I just fall over at random times whenever I walk... and my classes are all 10-20 minutes away from my dorm by foot ;v;
I've also been too busy to work on anything fun like art or music...
