Monday evening, the League of Women Voters of the Columbia Area moderated the Columbia City Council At-Large Candidate Forum. Over 70 residents were in attendance! WISTV live-streamed the forum.

Longtime media educator Frank Baker, (author of Media Literacy in the K-12 Classroom) will bring important information, advice and recommendations for thinking critically in the age in which we live. For more than 25 years, he has taken the "media literacy" message to educators in South Carolina.

The Columbia World Affairs Council hosted the International Visitor Leadership Partnership group last week.  We had the great honor to meet with this group of leaders from India, South Africa, Japan, Taiwan, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Territories.
