I've highlighted some detailed parts which I think show the artist's skill. The success isn't just down to people thinking art by a famous comedian is a good investment. This guy knows how to paint and has caught something of the essence of his subject matter exquisitely!
I'm still feeling very privileged to have got a place on a really lovely workshop session run yesterday by the amazingly talented Laura Kate at the Lady Lever Gallery in Port Sunlight, with accompaniment by the phenomenal harpist Elinor Nicholson!
