Aesop put out 2 albums in same calendar year. Local crew and label celebrated 30 years and still headlining Red Rocks and bout to take Kool Keith on tour. Deltron just sold out larger venue here than 25 years ago.

And media/corp side of things, was just looking back at some post George Floyd murder things again, remembering that places like Google, Viacom even did some “memorials”……now like all tech and most big corps, on knees pleasing Trump and opposite of anything they ever even pretended to be.

Two of the most approachable and best speakers we’ve seen in while. Of course Zohran wasn’t born in US so he couldn’t run. But if Trump gets to break every other law, give us that one.

No thanks Amy. We gave him two terms to do what he said he would, and didn’t. And when we needed him most, he was nowhere to be found, much less proactive communication about what he was doing as leader of our city.

We saw better from many citizens and biz owners than our own Mayor

I’ve got work contracts staying busy till 26…..but 0 as of Jan 1 got me nervous, as it’s ugly out there.

Yeah. Only gets annoying if we have several days of shoveling/clearing in a row. But then as long as streets cleared, it surely can be pretty and have a great time with my 10 year old and his friends in it. Made a hell of a fort last year.

Sadly not as much as it seems like we used to get. Feel like NY and Upstate New York been getting hammered by it recently years and us not so much. We still get those tough temps for sure, but snow is more hit and miss than what it seemed like growing up

Bike lanes, commuter lines, to great single track mountain biking in the metro too. It’s quite amazing. Decades here in Mpls and still finding new options to explore

Having been here decades, I swear they are a small fraction of how bad they were when growing up. Used to make playing little league and anything just annoying. I’m still outside camping w son, tubing, biking, paddleboarding a lot and so rarely even use big spray or regret not.
