day 6-7. got too lazy to update daily lol but just to complete it.
the most peaceful durbar square of the ones I've visited!
overall, nepal was great. what a treat to be able to experience this ancient city & its beautiful surroundings 🥺

day 5. up in a different corner of the valley, where we can view the himalayas from our hotel terrace. missed sunset by a few mins, but still pretty. try again at sunrise. meanwhile, had a traditional massage & a hearty dinner. life is good.

day 2. while both unsettled & fascinated walking through several public cremations, sites of ritual sacrifice, & countless unfathomably ancient streets, i find that encountering a completely different culture always makes me feel so connected with the world...like, metaphysically

while walking around a corner of the neighborhood we've never been to, we randomly stumbled on this cafe that gave us free scones (i assume cuz it was late and they were closing). i think i like scones a little bit more now.
