Thanks to Adam for recalling an even longer DEPARTMENT heading occurring with 235's Dumb Kind of Hero! madcoversite.com/mad235.html

Remains to be seen, but in the limited amount of issues I've put the DEPARTMENT headings on, this one from #109 may end up being the longest one MAD produced, even getting its own page prior to the article! madcoversite.com/mad109.html

One thing I have to give major props to William M. Gaines, was that he knew how stupid smoking culture was.

So from the time he was running the magazine, he always took the piss out of smoking.

By request... the possible origin of this Sergio Aragones statue of Batman produced in 2012 came from A MAD Look at Super Heroes from #177 September 1975. www.madcoversite.com/mad177.html

As I get another regular issue's worth of "Department" mentions done, I may make it public here with an example of one I particularly liked or had to dive deeper to understand. That's the case with this one from #119. The saying it's based on went away long ago. www.madcoversite.com/mad119.html
