I think some people mistake Caine's behavior for "not knowing what sexuality is", but in my opinion, he DOES know, because his job requires knowing what to refuse to allow. It's just that when someone asks to see it/have it, he gets stuck in the Command Conflict loop of "requested vs forbidden"
