When I had to worry about my presentation at work, I nailed it. Those were fun times. Alas, I don't have to worry about that shit now. So, I'm right there in super-casual-ragamuffin! :)

When I was working some of my corporate life in the Bay Area (in the late 80s), I made extra money off my house mates who couldn't iron their dress shirts to save their lives. Thank goodness for HomeEc! hahahah

I actually had a HomeEc class in high school. Though it didn't come close to covering emotional intelligence, but budgeting, how not to burn the house down when cooking, and mending socks were good things to learn. lol
