people seem to dislike how soundwave's speech changed in skybound, and i can understand it as a critique towards the writing.

however here's my take: soundwave will choose a speech pattern depending on who he's surrounded by or how he wants to present himself in the moment 👇

Let us be respectful of one another's wishes 💕

Don't claim traced drawings as yours, even if you change enough to make it "entirely new".
Reference is different. Using references isn't cheating 💕

Did several tries via only using reference but it wasn't working out, so I traced and then changed some features to reflect my style.
I'm only posting this to remind young artists that tracing is okay when you're learning. Just give credit 💕
