I can’t remember what the stage show did but I realized in Wicked Part 1 they don’t use the term witches. Galinda wants to be a sorceress. Morrible teaches a sorcery seminar. For Part 2 it’s just Glinda the Good (no witch). Only Elphaba is called a witch. Is it some sort of Ozian perjorative?
Now, more than ever, you have to be a weird little pervert who makes art of questionable quality. You need to be driven crazy by the flesh. Because, as we all learned from Cronenberg's The Fly, the computers are not made crazy by the flesh. They can't do it like us.
I’m only halfway through but uhhh so far I am not getting the idea that Skillet is an aspirational character (sadly relatable in some ways but not aspirational)
I remember seeing it for sale at Walmart when I was in college and I somehow didn’t steal it? Or pirate it? Or watch it until two nights ago so I could listen to the episode? It was good but damn 20 year old me would have made it her whole personality
I’m not against anachronistic music and we should give CharlieXCX a shot but of all the times to finally get that Florence/Hozier collab this would have been perfect
(Bluesky is also where I’ll be sharing my Wuthering Heights opinions)
People will reference Heathcliff digging up Cathy’s corpse to hold but they leave out that he knocked the wall of her coffin down so that when he gets buried next to her they become one while Linton’s corpse is on the other side of her all alone. POSTHUMOUS CUCKING. GET IN THE CUCK CASKET.
