I got these cards with my TRC graphic novel and finally got a frame and had to be so so extra. All of the little things were hand cut by me! The "mirror" over Blue is a piece of Dr. Pepper can!

A reader asked me if every detail in THE LISTENERS was historically accurate, then clarified what she really wanted to know: did J. Edgar Hoover REALLY use three exclamation points in letters to his agents?

Yes!!! Happy to report this is historically accurate punctuation usage for him.

Currently enjoying Michigan sun at the Harbor Springs Festival & making curried sweet potatoes while working on the copyedits for THE DREAM THIEVES graphic novel. I had forgotten what an angry lil book it was!

I can't show you any of it yet, so here's some dream things where I'm staying instead.

Finally got round to reading the Listeners & I keep thinking of how when I saw @maggiestiefvater.bsky.social she asked what luxury was to us. I gave the wrong answer. Luxury is the fact that my partner swapped seats so I had a better view even if it meant he was now sitting in an uncomfortable chair
