Today we listened to great music, did some psychedelic free-pixeling before my trip this weekend, talked about leaving elitism behind in art communities, and celebrated our togetherness. I love creating occasions for togetherness.

Time navigation is difficult. The illusion of time begets the illusion of a threefold choice: Live in the past, the now, or the future.

The result is a disorganized being who lives in all three, constantly shunting its own experience into different categories of time.

I'm reading "Scattered All Over the Earth" by Yoko Tawada, who plays effortlessly with language and linguistics in a way that I can't get enough of—this particular aside reminded me of some of your writing on here.

Even my political rage feels subsumed into the attention machine instead of directed meaningfully.

This is a logistical-emotional-social challenge; if we are convinced our only power is in feeding quarters to the machine, we uphold the status quo and enrich its shareholders at cost to ourselves.
