Dosbarth Mrs Johnson have been so busy today. We have written information texts about 🦕 dinosaurs and thoroughly enjoyed finding baby ones inside eggs! (We did get rather messy)

Class 2/3CJ had the best time when Rachel from ICE came to see us. She sang with us, we helped act out the story of The Singing Shepherd🪉, and created a sheep using our unique fingerprints. 🐑

Thanks to Incy Wincy, it’s been a very spidery week in Reception. We have learned lots about spiders; made a pictograph about those who do and don’t like spiders; been on web hunt, taking our own photos of them and made a giant web of our own! 🕷️🕸️

We all enjoyed our Harvest service yesterday at church. Years 2 and 3 read a parable and special prayers they had written thanking God for our food and remembering people who do not have enough food to eat.

🍂 Year 6 had a lovely church service this morning for our Autumn Harvest celebration! 🌾 The children enjoyed sharing thanks, singing hymns, and reading a parable about generosity and gratitude. A meaningful way to welcome the season 🙏

Reception have been learning ‘Sing a Song of Sixpence’. We had a letter from ‘the King’ asking us to give the queen instructions on how to make a honey sandwich. We practiced our instructions on one of our adults first, then made our own sandwiches and instructions …The sandwiches were delicious!😋
