Like vegetables and meat. Food banks can very often acquire these safely (and more inexpensively than individual citizens) via cash donations and give people dependent on food banks a very welcome and unfortunately rare treat to fresh foods.

Cash donations are ideal, but mindful donations are good.

But also if you do not have money to donate, still want to donate, and have excess non-perishable, shelf-stable foods, you can *also* typically donate these sorts of food items to food banks. There's often an abundance of some of these, though, and a deficit of fresh or perishable items--

To this day I regret all the games I was pressured into playing/buying by someone who found every excuse not to do the things I ever wanted to do or got themselves banned from the ones I wanted to play the most.

I hate watching things that make me feel hopeless now more than ever and, knowing what the story's about, I had zero expectations of any shreds of optimism in that gruesome mess of a story but lo and behold, all the expected revulsion and gore aside, that character's energy really moved me.
