It's been difficult to be on social media.
Watching Nazis come out of hiding one by one and turn against their friends and neighbors is the most disheartening thing.
I really thought there were fewer. I freely admit I was ignorant to how much hatred festered in Americans. I thought we were better.

My biggest brag in life was that I met Jane Goodall when I was 10.
She has always been such a huge inspiration to me, a wonderful, gracious, passionate, and compassionate human being.
The world is darker without her fire.

I know. I just miss his hugs. They say dogs don't like hugs but he reeeeaaaallly liked hugs. He loved them. He would come up to you for one. He also loved Bob Ross. Loved him. Only dog I've had who watched TV. There will never be another one like him.

I am so glad to know my tax dollars are going towards hanging posters of trump's face on government buildings and ICE robots that throw grenades.
So much more beneficial than putting them towards something completely absurd, like universal healthcare.

I didn't post when it happened because I just couldn't, but had to say goodbye to our biggest baby and dearest friend.
So many things going on personally and in the world it's sometimes impossible to know how to pick up and carry on.
