there’s so much to unpack with this character but none of his actions are addressed at length. So far i haven’t seen anything that makes me root for him to “win” in this so-called triangle.

Would be nice if the author balances things out by calling out the wrongs committed by the other characters. For ian, there’s always someone stepping in to explain and rationalise things on his behalf (understandable considering he’s the MC). As for Jo;

I’ll be honest. Everyone in this story has made questionable choices, out of desperation, obsession, and/or impulse. But there’s way too much emphasis on TJ’s wrongs. Every time he appears, the narrative pivots back to his mistakes. It’s lowkey anticlimactic.

It was a whole bunch of nothing ong. I feel bad about Ian tho. Like his mind is such a jumbled mess, and the only thing in focus is his fight with TJ. He keeps doing what he believes to be right, hears what he wants to hear, and blocks out every bit of helpful info.

My heart feels heavy whenever I think about this panel of TJ. On his own, guilt ridden, misunderstood, always a few seconds away from death, and carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. And as if his woes weren’t enough, he’s convinced himself that he is indebted to Jo (of all people).

Don’t have the mental bandwidth to comment on Wetsand. We had to take in a liddol baby cat and she has turned my entire house upside down. My cats are mad pissed ofc, and the poor kitten has separation anxiety.

All of this is 100% valid and i’m glad he said it out loud for TJ to hear, but when you think about love rivals, Ian’s is an imaginary woman, and TJ’s is a living, breathing man.

This is interesting. I wonder if “leaving everything behind” applies only to TJ because he represents the “bad guys” and hence his men are dispensable in the grand scheme of things, but Ian gets to hold on to his people because they are the “good guys”.

After all this time, Ian’s thoughts and actions still don’t align. It’s unfair the way TJ is put on blast and held accountable for things that weren’t his fault alone. It’s like TJ is the only one who has to atone and introspect, whereas Ian refuses to see the bigger picture and act rationally.

It’s definitely not doing TJ any favours. He doesn’t get to vent, he doesn’t get reassurances, and i know he will never he get vindication because he is the second lead (imo) and a means for MC to complete his journey. 🤷🏽‍♀️

These panels of TJ in his weakest moment really make my heart hurt. It’s like clarity hit him so hard, he couldn’t stay standing and crumpled to the ground.

Mans really allowed himself one moment of weakness to mourn something he (seemingly) lost, and then it’s business as usual.

One thing about TJ. You will never find him lacking in front of his men. It’s lowkey funny to even imagine a situation where TJ would accept Ian’s offer to run away and essentially abandon his loyal subordinates.
