Also, playing both ZX and ZXA on a large screen for the first time, you can really appreciate the graphical detail of these games. They're really stunning and have a lot of techniques I don't see used these days. Indies could learn a lot from them.

ZXA is still the best game Inti has made to date, and it's not even close.

I assume ZXA is hella slept on because ZX was so bad. But really any Mega Man fan should look into it. It's some of the franchise's best.

ZX Advent was a breath of fresh air. Gun gameplay is BACK and viable. Go getter protag Ashe (F whiny Grey). Being able to literally play as the bosses is interesting. Map isn't confusing garbage.

The flow and pacing is EXCELLENT. Controls are responsive and tight.

On top of that the characters are kinda whiny, and the side quests are mind numbingly boring and repetitive. 10 (or more?) side quests of deliver a letter to literally the same person. 6 side quests of find the *same item* in the *same area*. GONNA KMS

Honestly I don't remember ZX being this bad even. The map system is completely fucked. Shit like the in game Map shows an exit TOP LEFT from the current area to the one I want to go. The real door to that area is on the RIGHT side of the level. WTF! Insane.

My wife and I finished replaying the Mega Man ZX series.

My feelings have not changed since I first played them; ZX sucks despite it's high potential, and ZX Advent is one of the best games in the entire franchise.

Played both in the collection w/ music and undub mods.

For UEnum Assets AND CPP defined UEnums, whether you own/control them or not.

IRL Agent Orange is a chemical used in I think the Vietnam war, it was a poisonous weapon that's probably illegal today. It led many natives and even US military personnel to suffer permanent disabilities.

Oh also, an example use case for the Global Volume is like; Say you want to lower BGM during cutscenes to make the voices more clear. You can set that to like 80% or something, and then no matter what music tracks get played they're all under that 80%. Then set back to 100% when the cutscene ends.

The Volume controls also come with Fade options. Gotta keep it smooth!

Maybe one day I will add 'Layers', so like playing and mixing multiple music tracks together.

But I don't know if at that point the Audio Designer wouldn't just be using Meta Sounds directly for that level of control?... 🤔
