Takayasu on his way to London - I remember him saying that he would aim to reach Ozeki again in order to have a seat on a plane within a first class (so he could have a little bit more space and feel less back pain).
I'm happy to see him comfortable on a plane even without an Ozeki rank ;)

Now boarding for London--Group B--that consists of 60 additional rikishi, gyoji, shimpan, and JSA officials.

After 14 hours long flight the first group of rikishi has arrived in London.
14 hours, that must be exhausting for them and their bodies.
Anyway, I'm happy to see them there and waiting for the other group to arrive safe and sound.

Our Makuuchi rikishi are looking forward, but not without some trepidation, to Grand Sumo's return to London, October 15-19.

On a more serious note - what a ride it was with Takakeisho sumo career. It's time for a well deserved retirement as Minatogawa Oyakata.
I haven't watched his danpatsu-shiki, but it seems like it was an emotional ceremony.

I wrote to RAH a few weeks ago, I was wondering when tickets would be sent and I was worried that perhaps I won't be able to receive it (polish national post works like a REAL shit). They told me that tickets will be sent in the last days of September/early October. Also they said:
