How’re we doing out there #medsky? #scisky? #healthsky?
I was skeptical at first, but Bluesky really is a fantastic platform for scientists who want to engage in broader public conversations.

Thank you @bsky.app and @jay.bsky.team for this amazing resource!

Open corruption. Silent media. Power moving higher. And we just scroll like nothing’s wrong.
Freedom isn’t gone overnight — it’s fading while everyone pretends it’s still here.
If this is normal, are we even alive or just watching our own chains form? ⚡💀🔥

The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Trump says he’s increasing tariffs on imports of Canadian goods by 10% because Ontario’s commercial that accurately used Ronald Reagan’s words about tariffs made him sad

Ronald Reagan found Donald Trump annoying & avoided him. Trump spent years trying to reach him and failed, Reagan saw him as a loudmouthed rich moron with a large ego, and wanted nothing to do with him.

Trump stood in line to get his picture taken with him at a meet & greet.

If That’s a donation, it goes to the treasury and only congress can decide how to spend it. No such (lawful) thing as private payment of government obligation.

If members of the United States military are truly being paid their salaries by a private individual, the American people should know who that individual is. Now.

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.
Can we keep him from coming back? 🙄

It's kind of amazing that a symbolic architectural monument to democracy is being transformed into a symbolic architectural monument to naked grift and techno-feudalism right before our eyes.

Patronage Networks is the kindest and least Russian sounding way to say oligarchs

the point of the ballroom obvs has nothing to do with aesthetics. it's to create an architectural structure to honor the patronage networks that currently dominate US politics. previous WH venues hosted maybe a couple of hundred people; this hosts nearly 1,000 rich donors.
Can’t wait to see it demolished and the PEOPLE’S HOUSE rebuilt and restored

Americans still don't realize how bad it has gotten and how much worse it is going to get.

Immense destruction, pain and suffering, and we're not even at the tip of it.

It's not lost on me that the part of the White House we are destroying is the part that has to do with women's history in the White House.
NEW: NBC News confirms that the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, on the east side of the White House, has been destroyed as part of the demolition of the East Wing.

Carney: "We can't control the trade policy of the US. We recognize it has fundamentally changed from the policy in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, & it's a situation where US has tariffs against every trading partner... what we we can control is developing new partnerships, including w/econ giants of Asia"
Personally, I’m looking forward to the demolition of this f’ing ballroom and rebuilding of the PEOPLE’S HOUSE. Despite what Bannon says, he will not be in power that much longer
