Okay so I think maybe I just am not meant to watch the games this year at all in order to bring the best vibes. Like the Jags game took a turn last week right when I started watching and even when I stopped it couldn’t come back. I didn’t ever stop to watch tonight

I’m not giving any Sunday night bandwidth to this game. I still need to shower and put away laundry and get some admin work done because I’m overbooked by 5 clients, have a monthly staff meeting, and I’m speaking on a panel about fostering staff wellness/resiliency this week. lol

We had to make a slight adjustment to nap schedule to be able to make it on time for the 2:30 show which IYKYK can be harrowing but he went down like a champ 30 minutes earlier than usual and we are halfway through our 90 minutes already. Only time will tell if we create a bedtime monster.

Really hate to share that a day that involved more activity, movement outside, and attention to a much needed chore has left me feeling energized rather than drained. Ugh

I’m not a good enough sleeper to always allow the dogs in the bed but when the world is hard and heavy and it’s a weekend it feels nice pile all in. Also I know the dogs LOVE it and then it makes me feel good to do, they got a good walk today too.

The way when I am doing goodnight snuggles with my toddler and he starts to squirm and I say “are you ready to lay down in your bed?” And he says “yes” in his little voice 🥹

I love how W gets hyper fixations with his books and/or Tonie characters in the same way that I do. Lately we’ve been reading “I Want My Hat Back” and “This Is Not My Hat” by Jon Klassen multiple times a day. That’s also his favorite exhibit at The Rabbit Hole
