What’s the #1 cause of bankruptcy in America? #Healthcare bills. This will add to that. Note age 60 and older is most affected; this age range is most medically fragile: should not be going without healthcare. Folks over 60 may still be assisting children, grandchildren. This is unconscionable

If the #subsidies expire and #ACA monthly #healthcare costs rise, many more people will have to make the tough choice between healthcare and paying their rent/mortgage, income tax, state tax, utilities, car payment, gas, groceries for self/dependents, healthcare for dependents, etc. (5/n)

Additionally, the total cost of insurance as a percent of take home pay would now be between 4-24%, with some individuals over 60 paying as much as one quarter of their take-home pay towards health insurance (note this is before state taxes, federal takes, social security, etc) (2/n)
