Indeed, it’s a beautiful and fairly quiet place. I shot images at dawn on two consecutive spring mornings with an American musician for her album artwork there early last year.

Thank you … I’m not so sure about the image, I was unprepared, hurried and unable to get the straight on angle I wanted. He tolerated me but I got the feeling that me faffing about to get a different angle wasn’t going to be appreciated so I moved on.

Well not all of the summer, maybe just June …. Not sure when I’m doing the train journey to Germany yet. Oh and if your photography travels bring you to SW England we are in Somerset and have a garden cabin available if you need a base.

Are you shooting panoramic on film? I’m hoping to do a long car trip up to Scottish Highlands and then back over to Ireland to family in Waterford and Co.Cork in the spring. Then sometime later a solo train adventure over to Brussels, Berlin and Leipzig amongst other places.

Only 6 degrees?? It’s 12 degrees here but also very much the beginning of autumn with leaves 🍁 turning and falling 🍂 the sun is out which is nice. Loving the long socks ?? ❤️

Ditto with the stairs. I did have help from my partner and neighbours though. I was rubbish on the crutches, had a big fall so was given a wheelchair to use which enabled me to get around downstairs

Yes it’s a surreal experience for someone usually active - unable to climb the stairs, worried about falling, relying on others etc. I hope you are healed up now.
