Here for the historical wargaming. I'm a solo wargamer, doing more periods than I can possibly do justice to, mostly in 6mm, but increasingly falling in love with 10mm too.

Favourite period (Napoleonics) + favourite rules (GdA2) + favourite scale (6mm) = hobby happiness
Yes. Met my wife on Twitter (in the days before it turned evil)
It also means there's a comprehensive set of tutorial videos by the author on You Tube, which are extremely helpful
General d'Armee 2 is the best set of rules I've ever used. Simple mechanics, command driven, will work in any scale (typically 1 or 2 divisions per side)
Russia- bringing barbarism to the gates of Civilised Europe for a thousand years. May Ukraine know victory and peace soon.
There was a Black Mirror episode where the PM had to fuck a pig live on air to serve a higher interest. I'll leave it at that.
I can't imagine why anyone would not say F. It has the whole of Italy in it!
Seems a bit harsh. What did the fly do to deserve such defamation?
Is the penny finally dropping?
Refreshing to see *one* of the party leaders standing up for decency and against extremism.
Since the world's going to buggery, if I want to do Goths vs. Sassanids, I'll jolly well do it, and to hell with the consequences
The best terrible film ever
Plan 9 From Outer Space quote! Kudos.
The People's Front of Judea, probably
I always say it's better to be passionate about almost *anything* than to be passionate about nothing.
But you have to hand it to these women, they refuse to believe they're beaten.
These look fantastic. I love what you've done with the limber bases.
And Pendraken figures are just so good (and a genuine pleasure to paint). If I didn’t already have unconscionable numbers of 6mm Napoleonics, I would definitely go for these.
These new @baccus6mm.com Italian Wars figures are the best 6mm figures I've ever seen (and I have over 30,000 6mm figures so I'm in a position to compare). Can't wait for the Swiss to arrive this autumn.
Some would argue it's exactly how Parliament is *supposed* to work
I'll probably crop them in Paint first to remove the edge. I've made some before, from various flag resources online, but this feels like hitting paydirt.
Yep. PowerPoint here I come 🙂
I have a 15th Century imagi-nations campaign I'm building (10mm armies), and a lot of pseudo heraldry to create, so this is amazingly useful to me.
Well now you've got me addicted, and until yesterday I never even knew this treasure trove existed!
