My late husband and I married in Niagara Falls, on the Canadian side, laughingly calling it 'neutral territory'.

We were surprised City Hall sporting a portrait of Queen Elizabeth, while playing English music.

We discovered Canada to be surprisingly British. 🇬🇧

Same in the US with the American flag.
If I fly a flag now (and I do not) it would be the California flag, flying for independence as they do in Scotland.

As an optimist myself, and a reader, I believe we will indeed reach a boiling point where enough of us resisters will take back our country.

Next Saturday, the 18th, is going to be massive. Already, our community has moved to a bigger outdoor venue, allowing us to take over the entire city.

I'm observing what's happening in the UK, Rachel, my home from 2000 - 2020, in horror.
Deeply concerned your beautiful country may also succumb to fascism.
Rather than America being a warning, it seems to be a magnet for spreading hate and terrorism.
