Philosophy Reform: The independent review board for philosophy work would be constituted by university admin with members from other relevant disciplines. But it would also have to have meaningful general societal representation to ascertain adherence to societal relevance. 7/11

Some people like to read about traditional or current philosophers. That's fine. But it can waste a lot of time if you are looking for ideas to benefit you. If the latter is your goal, I recommend an approach that prompts you to develop these ideas. This is what my work is about.

Philosophy will not be able to reclaim the status of a science as long or far as it a) does not apply the scientific method to itself and b) entertains belief-based constructs other than as hypotheses to be scientifically proven.

Philosophers are not gods. And much of what they say is nonsense. The job of philosophy professionals is to sift out what makes sense and dump the rest. But nobody has the guts or brains to do so. It is all great! Let's just swipe the worst under the carpet and not talk about it.

Some may think it unimportant or hyperbolic that I urge each of us to be a philosopher. This is no wonder since we are systematically programmed to leave non-functional thinking to others. But the failing state of the world calls on us to take our responsibility and future back.

Much effort is put into translating Hegel without succeeding. One difficulty is translating German generally with its meaningful word roots of syllables and its composite structure. The other is that Hegel recasts these into often only contextually defined specialized meanings.
