Mirroring Trump.

Remember he said he'd replace Obamacare with "the best plan ever" or words to that effect?

Trump still hasn't.

Farage's comment tacitly acknowledges he doesn't either.

Is this Trump angling to collect the Nobel Peace prize as it was awarded...

..."to a woman"

⁉️

Bounty Hunters.

Says it all.

Tad hypocritical when he can end Ukraine conflict just by withdrawing his troops and going home.

Don't forget Farage is part of the cabal trying to take control of the National Trust.

So far unsuccessfully, but important members exercise their votes every year to keep then at bay.

"Ashes" is really the wrong term, it suggests a light substance swiftly to be dispersed by wind and rain.

The remains from a cremation are more akin to a fine gravel.

If scattering in the countryside they should be broadly scattered not dumped in a pile.

From what I can see, their mutual regard is simply entrenched in their distaste for the Maduro dictatorship.

But that dislike is approached from different directions for different reasons.

I know little of South American politics, I became engaged with this topic because of all the nonsensical furore about Trump campaigning for the Nobel Peace prize for two reasons:

a): because he simply doesn't deserve it at any level.

b): because of the clearly published nomination process.

Struggling against a tide of unwelcome revelations.

Sinking rapidly.

No mention that the Scotch Egg had a double yolk?

And Trump was so happy to welcome an American Pope.

Did he think it would buy him influence in Rome?

Quite the opposite.
martinput.bsky.social
Is he jealous of Starmer's success with his "toolmaker" father?
martinput.bsky.social
Farage better take care.

Nathan Gill still has a voice.

And a tale to tell.

Are suggestion of repartitions for the malicious destruction of innocent properties that were just stood there doing no harm to anybody?
martinput.bsky.social
Still nothing from Trump himself.

Listen to the whole reply in the clip.

It's a tad more diplomatic.

Whatever sentence is passed down, it will not satisfy Farage.

"MAGA is not taking the María Corina Machado Nobel win well."

That was a given from the moment of the announcement.

I gave a whoop of delight as the statement was read out.

At the line:

"to a woman..."

Nominations for 2026 close in 114 days.

What can he manage in that time?

Nominations for 2026 close in 114 days.

Can he turn round public/professional opinion by then?

I don't think so.

I watch the Nobel Peace Prize presentation live.

Listening, I let out a whoop of delight as the words:

"goes to a woman...."

The sense of relief I felt at that moment was delicious.

Trump lost his voice?

Very limp criticism from WH spokesman only response si far.

And disband I.C.E.

Welcome immigration - esp. from Venezuela.

Close the detention centres, repatriate all those illegally deported.

Reemploy those thrown out of work by D.O.G.E.

Acknowledge Climate Charge - promote green solutions.

All this before any chance of recognition.

And he only has 114 days to turn around his position before nominations close for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.
