Ha! Actually, rugby is a fairly popular 2nd sport in my hometown. I think matches are nearly always at different times or on other days though. In the US, it doesn't help that baseball teams play almost every day of the week!

I wonder what the crossover is between football and basketball fans. I get the impression quite a few people go to both in Akita. When Blaublitz are at home and get a relatively low crowd I think it's partly because Happinets have a home game that day.

No fan of Kobe but pleased to see Ren Komatsu come on and get an assist. He's done well to get a move to a big J1 side but it would be nice if at least one Blaublitz player to go up a league got regular minutes and even excelled!

Wow. Great effort! How many tickets were available? Apart from Yamagata and Sendai, away fans are allowed to mingle with home supporters in some sections at Soyu Stadium.
