Great reminder. While there’s so much chaos and uncertainty churning in the US that has global impact, it’s important to keep our eye on the prize here at home, such as the values we stand for, speak out about, influence and vote for. It’s about our own free, independent and very 🇨🇦 way of life.

I think we should keep our eyes on Canada and not on Trump. The Canadian conservatives are trying to end birthright citizenship and also every one of their MPs has voted against women’s rights. So look to Canada and worry about what is already happening here.

If you want safe Canadian made pots and pans, you might want to take a look Paderno’s stainless steel ones - touted as eco friendly.

We bought ours decades ago - easy to cook with and clean. Ours weren’t the expensive ones but are still in great shape.

Didn’t know that the first Canadian Thanksgiving predates the American one by 43 years. However, most Canadians would skip Thanksgiving altogether if we didn’t revise the menu of “salt beef, biscuits, and mushy peas”
