EXCLUSIVE — DHS Acting General Counsel sent out a memo Wednesday to all Federal Protective Service staff (the sub-agency that guards federal buildings) letting officers know they could take any action necessary "in the vicinity" federal property to protect themselves.

One thing that does give me a little joy is knowing that eventually US history books will probably have chapters about this and will include pictures of frogs and other animals dancing in front of ICE agents for protests. Imagine statues of that being put up in parks and city centers.
